This set contains a large number of instruments which are common to many surgical procedures. There are 8 trays in total, each of which is perforated and has folding handles on the side so as to allow it to be lowered into the sterilizer without the need for handling individual items. The left side of the box contains 3 smaller tins, again each of which is perforated so they can be sterilized. The contents of the trays are:
